I thought it was a good idea to buy 2020 versions to save some money but to my surprise, it was super expensive still. Can I find discounts somewhere?

Yeah. That’s how it goes with Autodesk software. They know they have the best product and they do absurd overpricing. But there’s a countermeasure to it- you can get used key. To you luck I can share just the website where you can buy th software you need. Check this autodesk civil 3d 2020 price
