Proof of Intelligence is a neural network inspired consensus algorithm introduced by AION, which is similar to the traditional proof of work where blocks are mined via a solving mechanism. However, in proof of Intelligence, those computing power put into solving the puzzle is leveraged for actual utility. In the long run, the goal of proof of intelligence is to make deep neural net capabilities possible and power the operation of AI applications on top of the Aion-1 blockchain.
