One of Ethereum’s myriad projects, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has opened up the registration of all the remaining three character .eth addresses on their website, saying it will simplify the process of sending and receiving cryptocurrencies. The “Ethereum” part of the name accurately signifies that ENS is a naming service built on Ethereum.
The Ethereum blockchain and the ENS smart-contracts are simply the infrastructure of this naming service. The service was launched in 2017, and now isoprene to the public for use.

The entire application is built on smart contracts on the Ethereum Blockchain, which opens with the applications of traditional website to the unlimited resources available on the blockchain. This will make the domains registered on the Ethereum Domain Services effectively resistant to all type of traditional DNS attacks.
Up to Cryptocurrency Wallets have already subscribed to the ENS, which will allows them to leave behind the traditional lengthy and hard to remember wallet addresses and replace them with personalized IDs, that can be easy to remember and propagate.
