Roger Ver is considered one of the most popular figures in the Bitcoin world. Born in 27th of January, 1979, he is one of the earliest investors in bitcoin/cryptocurrency-related startups. He has been a very prominent advocate and supporter for the adoption of bitcoin and believes in bitcoin potential to empower economic freedom ( which eventually earned his the nickname “Bitcoin Jesus”).
Roger Ver is born and raised in Silicon Valley. After serving a 10-month prison sentence as a result of illegal sale of explosives, he migrated to Japan in 2005. Upon obtaining a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport in 2014, he decided to renounce his US citizenship.
