The total supply of Bitcoin is 21 million BTC. The final Bitcoin is expected to be mined somewhere around the year 2140. However, this doesn’t mean that it is the end of Bitcoin mining. Miners will still be able to continue receiving rewards in the forms of transaction fees for each mined block. Not as lucrative when compared to current block reward of 12.5 bitcoins, but still significant enough to encourage the miners to keep mining, especially when higher fees are expected with the declining /absence of bitcoin block reward. So in short, bitcoin mining is not going to end.
